Now a days so many people blame to odesk. Yes something going on so bad there . Especially, i dislike their price range . Any one can bid with low and low price. so new contractor try to bid with very low price for get the early jobs and doing low quality work.
I thing comparatively SEOClerks.com is the best.

I think E-Lance is better than Odesk.

Yes but its only like working - you do the hours and you get paid an hourly rate. Ok, there's a chance of getting more cash per hour but its not gonna make you a millionaire is it.

If you're buying services from odesk, there's 2 things I would recommend.

1) You know your stuff - you'll get lots of applicants from the very bottom of the tree to the top, and a whole lot more who think they're better than they are.

2) Always be specific - if someone advertises their skills as web developer/webdesigner/seo expert, the chances are they aren't great at any of the skills.

oDesk sucks compared to what it use to be. I agree with what Terrybogard747 - try SEOClerks. They have a want to buy and a want to trade section where you don't even have to pay for services, just trade them (like barter). It will be the oDesk killer!

I’ve gotten hired for several jobs on ODesk as an article writer and programmer, and I’m generally happy with the site. But it freezes me in some options, I prefer SEOClerks.com over odesk or any other freelancing site.
