Lightbulb How to get backlinks of competitor websites

Hi Gurus,

I tried backlinkwatch website to get the list of backlinks of my competitor websites. However its not giving a complete list of backlinks. Are there any online tools/websites or softwares where I can know the backlinks fo my competitors.

Smallseotools, opensiteexplorer, majesticseo. This are the optional tool for backlinkwatch.

Majesticseo is also a useful site for backlink checking. You can also use ahrefs to find your back links.

Whats cool is you can use all those sites listed above to find them. I actually mentioned "monitorbacklinks" (I'm not advertising for them, but i am in a 30 day trial period and and happy with my trial). If you input your competitors urls, they send you alerts when new backlinks are found that your competition is adding.

So the idea is to find the backlinks the other guy is using. Then what? You find the forums and the blogs they post on and the posts they make. You start an log in ID there and you go and post "likes" on all their posts. So everything they have done is also connected to you now when google scans the site. Let them take the time to post long articles and either like or make a nice comment and you get just as much credit in Googles eyes.

Try ahrefs or backlinkwatch. These two are also good for checking the backlinks of a website.
