HTML frames are used to divide your browser window into multiple sections where each section can load a separate HTML document. A collection of frames in the browser window is known as a frameset. The window is divided into frames in a similar way the tables are organized: into rows and columns.

HTML frames allow authors to present documents in multiple views, which may be independent windows or subwindows. Multiple views offer designers a way to keep certain information visible, while other views are scrolled or replaced. For example, within the same window, one frame might display a static banner, a second a navigation menu, and a third the main document that can be scrolled through or replaced by navigating in the second frame.

Frames help you divide the browser window into different sections. In each section, a different HTML element is incorporated. All the frames together constitute what is known as a frameset. These frames can be divided into rows and columns similar to a table's rows and columns.

In the context of a web browser, a frame is a part of a web page or browser window which displays content independent of its container, with the ability to load content independently. The HTML or media elements that go in a frame may or may not come from the same web site as the other elements of content on display.

Thanks for sharing the unique post. I have no idea about this factor. But now my point is clear.

Frames allow you to have multiple sections of the browser window, called frames, each showing their own .html file within the frame. This used to be common practice when trying to show separate sections of a site in separate sections of the browser window, such as a header at the top, navigation at the side, and the rest was page content that someone could scroll down without making the header and navigation disappear.

HTML frames allow authors to present documents in multiple views. Views may be independent windows or sub windows. Multiple views offer designers a way to keep certain information visible, while other views are scrolled or replaced. For instance, to use three frames: one for a static banner, one for a navigation menu, and one for a main view that can be scrolled though or replaced by clicking on an item in the navigation frame.

frames is the use of multiple, independently controllable sections on a Web presentation. This effect is achieved by building each section as a separate HTML file and having one "master" HTML file identify all of the sections.
