PHP is very easy to learn, But asp.net has more web programming methods to apply the websites. I recommend the asp.net is best for web development.

PHP vs ASP.net

I would like to suggest PHP is better than ASP.
Because PHP is simple and easy understandable language when compare to other scripting languages.

ASP runs on Microsoft servers and it does not run on Non-Microsoft servers. PHP runs on every time of every time server in which CGI runs

Asp.net

ASP.NET is the best,
Reasons:
1. compare to php ASP.NET is Secure.
2. More Language Support
3. Speed
4. Its Cross-Platform
5. hierarchical set of class libraries.

ASP, Active Server Pages is a sort of plan that workings with Microsoft alongside IIS or Internet Information Server. PHP or Hypertext Preprocessed runs by Linux or UNIX server.

So naturally the first thing that comes to mind is to answer the question like this:

PHP is open-source and ASP.NET is from Microsoft.

Usually after something like that is said the customer has a blank look on there face. Apparently the fact that one is open source and the other isn't doesn't really faze them. And for good reason, because when I first heard it, it really doesn't tell me much.
Live Project Training in vadodara

I know from working with both that each have their differences when it comes to developing websites.

My question is what are differences between ASP.NET and PHP as far as

Features
Security
Extendability
Frameworks
Average Development Time
I am trying to compile a list of facts to be able to compare with the customer so that an informed choice on the appropriate development platform can be made.
