A simple selector is either a type selector or universal selector followed immediately by zero or more attribute selectors, ID selectors, or pseudo-classes, in any order

CSS allows authors to specify rules that match elements which have certain attributes defined in the source document.

crawl error
URL errors are errors that are specific to a particular page. This means that when Googlebot tried to crawl the URL, it was able to resolve your DNS, connect to your server, fetch and read your robots.txt file, and then request this URL, but something went wrong after that

In CSS, selectors are patterns used to select the element(s) you want to style. Use our CSS Selector Tester to demonstrate the different selectors. The "CSS" column indicates in which CSS version the property is defined (CSS1, CSS2, or CSS3).
