It is to reduce bounce rate or as lower as possible because high bounce rate means your site page does not satisfied the users needs and satisfaction.

How is bounce rate calculated? I mean if a user comes on my pages and is on that page for 1 minute & then he leaves without clicking anywhere else is it considered a Hit or a bounce?
