Tesla Model 3 : the biggest launch in the products history

With 325,000 bookings and revenue of some 14 billion dollars expected, the Model 3 is the world of self that the iPhone is the smartphone ... a dream object for geeks and enthusiasts!

325,000 pre-orders in a week, $ 14 billion, or about 12.3 billion euros ... figures that would turn the head of any manufacturer. Well this is the incredible success that is experiencing the Tesla Model 3. Elon Musk has indeed published this information on its Twitter feed and on the blog of Tesla.

At the conference last week, Elon Musk announced on stage than 115,000 pre-orders had been passed in 24 hours. A week later, the success of the Model 3 does not deflate and the manufacturer realizes "the product launch the largest in history." And again, it is Elon Musk says so.

So, for comparison, we plunged back into the numbers. For example, at its launch last September, Apple announced 10 million preorders for the iPhone 6S and 6S more in a week. In terms of volume, the Model 3 is far past ... but in terms of value, with a price of 640 euros, totaling € 6.4 billion, we are very far from the total amount of pre-orders for the Model 3.

Elon Musk is it expected the incredible success that knows its Model 3? One thing is certain, the Boss of Tesla takes it to heart, personally responding to messages sent to it on Twitter and leaving even imply that the Model 3 could change before its official launch. This would be the case for the front of the car that would not unanimous on the Web. Anyway, Tesla because of $ 1,000 per booking, Tesla now has 325 million dollars to start the vehicles production . And even if it is foreseen that the end of 2017 for the United States, teams will have to seriously up their sleeves - and finish building its Gigafactory - to complete orders, which should be counted in millions of by then.
