1. Our logo designs will not lose detail when you make them smaller.
2. Our logos look good in black and white (for faxes, copies, etc.) as well as color.
3. Our logo designs are distinct and memorable.

Adobe Illustrator is good software to create a good logo but some things remember at creating of great logos. You should have good knowledge of the rules and principles of logo design and make a simple and unique logo.

Even if you have great software, if you do not have the right knowhow you can't create good logos. Brilliant logo designers can make marketable and winning logos even with just MS paint, and this just shows that it's not always about the tools but the combination of resources and skills.

It depends on the peoples of your niche that which social media platform they are using to connect with each other. By the way most of the peoples are using twitter to connect with their friends, relatives and coworkers etc. Beside this facebook, Google+, myspace, Pinterest are other social media platforms to promote an online business

For those saying that Adobe Illustrator is the best program for logo designing, what makes you say so? I know that it's more advisable for designing things that are going to be scaled such as printed materials, but other than that I know next to nothing about it.

Sorry to interrupt you but best way for making logo is Coral Draw. It is more powerful than photoshop for logo making. Yeah I know photoshop is best software for image editing but it is not made for making logo. That is why. I usually use coral draw for that work.
