How widely used is ASP.net? - Site Owners Forums

I work for a mid-size development firm that specializes in industrial websites. We don't work with ASP.net programming. I don't think any of our development team even knows how to use it.

So how widely used is ASP.net?

ASP.Net is a very good platform to developing the website. It has lot of build in controls with in that. Many CMS are available in market for .Net.

As for surpassing the original ASP.NET, that will happen when more older projects are decommissioned, either in one hit, or by sections being replaced by new MVC functionality.
