Image alt text or alternate text means attribute added to an image tag in HTML. This text displays inside the image container when the image can not appear. Beside this, image text also helps search engines understand what an image is about.

Image alt text, we write in an HTML format where we can cover our keyword by giving the name in the alt tag. So text will display than search engines can easily understand and crawls it.

What is Image Alt Text?
The alt attribute is an image description consisting of a few words, which are read by the search engine when the page is indexed. If the user has disabled the graphical support function in the browser, the content of the tag will be displayed instead of the image. The text of this attribute should not be too long.
