MozRank quantifies link popularity and is Moz's version of Google's classic PageRank algorithm. Pages earn MozRank based on the other pages on the web that link to them and the MozRank of those linking pages. The higher the MozRank of the linking pages, the higher the MozRank of the page receiving those links.

Moz Rank basically refers to a link popularity score that is on a scale between 0 and 10. An indicator that originates from Moz , a SEO consulting company created in 2004 and that has grown to become one of market standards. Moz Rank represents the importance of the links of your website. This is determined primarily by the number and quality of the other pages that connect you.

This range is determined using a Moz-specific algorithm. That measures the quality and quantity of links pointing to a particular landing . As a result, each page of a website receives a different Moz Rank classification.
