Structured data is a system of pairing a name with a value that helps search engines categorize and index your content. Microdata is one form of structured data that works with HTML5. Schema.org is a project that provides a particular set of agreed-upon definitions for microdata tags.

structured data refers to information with a high degree of organization, such that inclusion in a relational database is seamless and readily searchable by simple, straightforward search engine algorithms or other search operations; whereas unstructured data is essentially the opposite.

Structured data contrasts with unstructured and semi-structured data. The three can be considered to exist on a continuum, with unstructured data being the least formatted and structured data being the most formatted. Data is increasingly amenable to processing as it is increasingly structured.

For the most part, structured data refers to information with a high degree of organization, such that inclusion in a relational database is seamless and readily searchable by simple, straightforward search engine algorithms or other search operations; whereas unstructured data is essentially the opposite.

Structured data refers to any data that resides in a fixed field within a record or file. This includes data contained in relational databases and spreadsheets.

Structured data is added directly to a page's HTML markup. Search engines use structured data to generate rich snippets, which are small pieces of information that will then appear in search results.

Structured data, also called schema markup, is a type of code that makes it easier for search engines to crawl, organize, and display your content.

Organized information permits web crawlers to creep your webpage, as well as to really comprehend it. Yes, even web indexes can have an extreme time unraveling website page content. A few components that appear to be consummately evident to us people are good for nothing to web crawlers.

Structured Data: Structured data is a way for digital content publishers to highlight or “tag” content on their web pages to help search engines know exactly what certain content relates to. In other words, structured data gives search engines another dimension of context for web page content.
