There is no objective answer to this question. You can't say one social network is universally better than any other. You have to first ask yourself these questions- What are you hoping to get out of the social network? What social network is your audience using? What type of content are you planning on sharing? From there you can decide if either Twitter or Facebook is better for you.

Facebook and Twitter are two legendary giants in the field of social networking. Most of people are using these two popular social networking sites in all over the world. If we talk about comparison between Facebook and Twitter, Twitter is much better than Facebook for advertising, events, blog and promoting products as well as services. Lots of people, who are running their business, take the help of social networking site to promote the product and to make the presence on the digital network. Through Facebook you can be in touch with the small amount of people while twitter has the vast area where you can build an effective relationship and keeping in touch with them.

For marketing purpose, i would like to prefer Twitter cause from my experience i got tonnes of traffic from twitter rather than facebook.

It's also going to depend on where your audience is. They might be on both Twitter and Facebook but there might be one where they are more active.

Facebook is an amazing platform for the connection and interaction with the family, friends and the colleagues. It is very much suitable for those people who can get socially connected and can add on a lot of new friends.

Yes, twitter is much better than Facebook, every minutes and every seconds there is new updation in twitter,even most of latest advertisements are update through twitter, infect in the world, there are most users use twitter than facebook...So, i prefer to go with twitter.
