Google+ is not the place to advertise your products and services and expect content to become viral. Also it depends on where you want to advertise your website. It’s very popular on the US west coast and in India - if you are looking for website engagement in these areas then go for it.

No, Google Plus only generate website traffic not increase your website ranking in Google. Only traffic purpose we can use Google Plus. If you want to promote your website, then you should go for complete digital marketing.
