Learn fundamentals of programming in Java language. Learn OOP concepts, Language Basics, Classes and Objects, Interfaces and Inheritance, Numbers and strings, Generics and Packages. Those are topics you need to tackle in learning Java Language.

First of all, you should have to clear your oops concepts from books,
after that being in practice with programs and implement them, run them, you will be good in java.
java is note a hard language, but practice make a men perfect.
so from now you should have to join any good coaching class in your area.
also take help from online tutorial web sites which helps in java study.

There are starting of Java is first to read core java then start advance java. There are many website provide there tutorial to read java. There is most popular java text book is Complete Reference and there are many book are present in the market.

To learn and understand JAVA language you have to first clear your OOP concepts so it will make your way easy to understand.
To start learning JAVA I mostly preferred "Java Programing" Book of "Balaguru Swami". Its very much helpful and easy guide to get command on JAVA. Best of luck.
