Even though, it's a good practice to use Nofollow link attribute to those link, where you don't want to pass link-juice. Dofollow links allow google (all search engines) to follow them and reach our website. If a webmaster is linking back to you with this link both Search Engine and Humans will be able to follow you.

Dofollow Link is a hyperlink that is able to tell all search engines to pass along it’s page rank influence to an outbound link.

Nofollow Link is exactly the opposite. It is a hyperlink that removes the ability to pass on it’s page rank status to other sites.

Nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct search engines bots that a hyperlink should not influence the link target’s ranking in the search engine’s index.
Dofollow links allow Google (all search engines) to follow them and reach our website. Giving us link juice and a backlink.

The do follow links allow web crawlers to follow the links and also pass on the link-juice to your site. Where as no follow tag restrict these advantages.
