Try posting in forums with signature links but make sure that you are posting in a right and appropriate category and never SPAM. Always try to contribute the forums with your knowledge and even you can learn the things from others, which you don't know.

The backlinks are the best methods for optimization and the few methods for optimization are social bookmarking and forum building, blog comments and article submission.

Forum posting and blog comment are better way for getting good backlinks because both are better for quality backliniks and also better for drive relevant traffic to your site from other sites.
