Not Really! It will increase your bounce rate. You can't get the relevant traffic to your website/blog so avoid using these types of method.

NO, it's not good, you may not get long time traffic as well as the returning user must be less. so try to bring a long time and returning visitors that really help you to rank well.

No, it is worthless. I've done it before, it is full of trash. If you don't want to get trash on your site then please forget about it. There are far more important things you can do to your site, focus on it instead.
