Ahref tool is an SEO tool used for marketing and research. Research for competitors backlinks, keyword research and even content marketing research. It is very helpful most especially if you have a paying account because you can have an access to a huge amount of data that you will be needing.

Ahrefs is one of the (if not the) most powerful suites of social media & SEO tools that I’ve ever used. Most SEOs know it as a “backlink checker” that competes with Majestic and intelligence/analytics tools with smaller indices like Moz & SEMRush. But “backlink checker” grossly undersells Ahrefs as a marketing suite.

The best way to use Ahrefs is to input a few competitors that are ranking on the first page for your targeted terms. Take a look at the existing back link profile and note a few things
The back link source Anchor text These two things will give you a good start to reverse engineer their ranking strategy with the final piece being their on-page optimization.
