I was thinking how to increase my rank in google for my wedding photography website . As it is a photography website, what type of website can i build my links to increase my ranking?

through seo process you can improve your rank in google. you will perform seo onapge and offpage both to improve ranking. it is a step by step process. first you should perform seo onpage like title tag. meta tag, alt tag and other on page techniques after it you should go for seo offpage like directory submission, social bookmarking, article submission, press release and other off page techniques.

Start with Onpage make sure all you tags description, robort.txt ect are intact. then start with sharing good content and creating some quality links, and yes be patient don't hurry to things.
