What is lemon diet?

The book with the lemon diet was written by Theresa Cheung, Anglo-Saxon author. The many nutritional benefits of lemon were popularized by a naturopath .

The 7 Principles of the lemon diet (7 days)

In the following 24 hours of detoxification, the participant is invited to follow one by one the seven principles of the lemon diet.

Day 1: Drink lemonade every morning at sunrise and plenty of water during the day.

Day 2: Enjoy the benefits of vitamin C by eating 5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily.

Day 3: Regulate his blood sugar watering dishes of 1 to 2 c. lemon juice tea, eating protein at every meal, eating at regular intervals throughout the day, not skipping meals and eating complex carbohydrates (whole grains, vegetables) and fiber.

Day 4: Eat less sugar reducing sugar added to coffee or tea and cereals, consuming less refined products such as white bread, cookies, white pasta and avoiding artificial sweeteners.

Day 5: Forget the "light" products and focus on foods rich in good fats (omega-3 and monounsaturated fats) and low in bad fats (saturated and trans). Consume 2 servings of fish a week including one portion of oily fish also consume nuts (walnuts) and seeds to each of your daily snacks.

Day 6: Eat lots of whole foods (unrefined) or natures such as cereals, rice, pasta, fruits, vegetables and legumes that are as close to their natural form.

Day 7: Apply the rules of good digestion, chewing every bite, eating in the best and calm conditions, stress, not eating two hours before bed or when you are very tired, turning off the television and practicing 5-6 times a week 30 minutes of physical activity.

Buying Guide of lemon diet:

Pulses and legumes.

Herbal teas, green tea, fruit juice or fresh vegetables, cereal drinks, filtered water, mineral water.

Organic eggs.

White freshwater fish, salmon, and fresh tuna.

Fresh organic fruit, applesauce, frozen or dried.

Whole grains, brown rice (complete).

Organic chicken and turkey.

Nuts (nuts) nature, not salted or roasted.

Cold pressed oils.

Lemon, apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, garlic, onions, herbs, and dehydrated vegetables.
