Google notices each and every single post from a date or an article in the website through crawlers. And when it finds the information, user engagement as per its algorithm, it shows and ranks your website in the first few pages of google

Google has software called " Google bot" which will crawl the website and stores the meta information about the website in the database. Whenever that particular keyword is searched in the search engine, Google will retrieve the information from the database and showcase to the users
