Run a php script every hour - Site Owners Forums

I have a php script that I'd like to run every hour. It updates my Mysql database by wiping a table and rewriting it.

Is this possible to do and if so how. I know I can't do it with the php script itself but is there some sort of 'outside' program that would do this automatically for me?
