Blog commenting is nothing but giving comments to others blog.But that blog should be do follow and your niche related. It will be only useful.

Blog commenting only useful for getting traffic on website, not helpful crawling by search engine because generally all blog provide no follow backlinks, so its only hepful to get nofollow backlinks.
