Hi friends,
Directory submission is one of the off page optimization techniques and its very helpful to us for diverting traffic, increase search engine popularity and brand awareness. Sorry but I don't. Who actually uses directories other than SEO people looking for links? Google does not place value in them unless they are human edited and very few have any PR to speak of.

Directory submission is a very good way to get a lot of high quality back links.It will provide your website the required back links.Most of the directories provide one way links, which is also beneficial for your site.

Yes, i think they are really useful for your SEO but remember to add your sites only on quality websites then you will get the most out of it..
