How come I can be on page 2 when searching for key terms for my company but my site is listed as a google PR0? It says it has not indexed yet but it has been months.

Google denotes a ranking of webpage depending on its back links and traffic to that particular page and if your page is at 2nd page on SERP (Search Engine Ranking Position) ranking then its a page which is performing well on particular keyword.

If you want to get high page rank then you can gather permanent quality backlinks for your site or blog and if you want to get higher rank so you should have page rank for your website and I am always prefer for page rank. By the way thanks for sharing info about page rank.

Google PageRank update's every three to four months but in some cases it can take up to six months before you notice any updates.

ok gotcha so SERP doesn't depend on PageRank? It is just that carpet cleaning or cleaners, etc. is getting the name picked up on google? So does pagerank really matter all that much for serp...

To overcome this issue, you should focus on link building, get more quality links using White HAT SEO methods. Also make sure your On-page SEO is perfect as well

Page rank is the numerical value(0 - 10) given to the site by calculating its links traffic.

If you want to increase your Google PR then you have submit your blog in the various directories available on the internet.These will index your website very fast and increase the PR as well.

You have to consistently work on your websites, make sure its websites with good pr you are working on too, sign up on social media websites, as well as social bookmarking and other forums too.
