There are numerous ways to mask a URL — meaning the URL in the browser's address bar is not the actual URL to the content.

The example code in this article assumes the actual content being published is at the same domain as the URL in the browser's address bar. With extra coding, and excepting the Apache rewrite method, the content can come from other domains.

URL Masking, means that the visitors to the domain name will be forwarded to your destination website, however the URL in their browser address bar will remain the same. Also known as Stealth Redirection or URL Hiding, this will ensure that your visitors see the orignal domain name and not the destination URL.

url masking is the act of hiding the actual domain name of a website from the URL field of a user's web browser in favor of another name.

There are various approaches to cover a URL — meaning the URL in the program's address bar is not the genuine URL to the substance.
The illustration code in this accept the real substance being distributed is at an indistinguishable area from the URL in the program's address bar. With additional coding, and aside from the Apache rework technique, the substance can originate from different areas.

Domain name masking allows you to show one URL in the browser's address bar, while another website's content is actually loaded.
