grey hat is combination of white and black hat technique. It is little difficult. you should try only white hat technique.

Black hat might get you traffic in the short term, but you're going to get penalized for it eventually. Stick with white hat tactics only.

If you want to generate only traffic then you should go with PPC. Pay per click advertising is the best way to generate instant traffic. I know you are aware of this. But I am suggesting you again if you only want traffic then you can.

Yeah, I avoid anything that isn't white hat. Google is pretty vigiliant so I'd stick with white hate only.
