Post Government Tendering process

Tendering is the process used by the Council to invite suppliers to supply goods or services to the Council.

Government tenders for any goods, services or works which total over ₹ 50,000. The aim is to create an effective, fair and transparent competition between companies to ensure value for money for the Council and the taxpayer.

To participate in a government contract you may need many Certificates and registrations, as you are about to work for a government authority you can’t get it directly you have to submit your BID to that tender with all the required documents and certificates enclosing your costing etc. and after that it is up on that authority if you are eligible as per their criteria than it will be awarded to you for sure. These are the following things you should know before participating in any government tenders:
• Contract with govt. of India are made u/a-299 and 300 of constitution
• Generally if a contract is with central govt. then it will be made under name of President
• If with state govt. then in the name of governor of respective state
• And a/c to these sections all the conditions should be fulfilled that are like
• You should be register contractor first of all
• There shall not be any miss conduct in your past services
• You must comply with all prov. of these sections


Note: First you should have registered as a contractor. You should execute small contract works and get completion certificate. Gradually your Grade would increase so shall your chances to get a bigger contract.
