MozRank is essentially a link popularity score that reflects the importance of a web page on the Internet in relation to others. Pages are attributed a MozRank by the number of (quantity) and authority (quality) of other pages that link to them.

MozRank represents a link popularity score. It reflects the importance of any given web page on the Internet. Pages earn MozRank by the number and quality of other pages that link to them. The higher the quality of the incoming links, the higher the MozRank.

Moz rank is just a metrics which is based on various parameters like traffic, backlinks, referral domains and many more.It depends on the quality of inbound links and the authority of domains to which it is linked to.

Moz is not Google, so I personally think you should not pay much attention to MozRank.

Although Moz's Metrics are somewhat related to google ranking but their own research has shown that it is only about 40%. Not good enough

MozRank is a value between 1 and 10 that measures the authority of a site or web page. It is said that the average value of a normal website has a value of 3.
