Hidden links are links that are intended to be crawled by Googlebot, but are unreadable to humans because:
- The link consists of hidden text
- CSS has been used to make tiny hyperlinks
- The link is hidden in a small character - for example, a hyphen in the middle of a paragraph.

The hidden links are not those that are present on the webpage to be viewed but still they are always set in an image file and can be seen through by using hyperlink. When the image gets clicked by someone it moves to some other webpage. In such a case the Google search results of that website gets hampered.

The links which is not visible, it's called hidden links. generally, Hidden links are given to increase traffic on the site. it's also called black hat seo.
