Look into White Hat SEO. It's better for your page ranking and for Google. Black Hat just seems a waste of time when you spam your link into places that don't have anything to do with the forum or website. White Hat will give you better results when you put in the time.

I never use black hat seo and I think I'll never try it.. google algorithms becoming more and more inteligent, so it's pointless of spaming with black hat seo and sooner or later get ban.. for your site.

If you do Black hat SEO techniques that will violate web master guidelines. You can easily promote with black hat techniques, however it will be penalized by search engine.

Black Hat SEO is known as unethical SEO. Google have some guidelines for SEO and when we work against these guidelines then Google read as Black Hat SEO.
