Crawling is the process of reading through your webpage source by search engine robots to provide information to search engines. Indexing is the process of updating the crawled webpages in search engine database. Indexed pages are now ready for search engine ranking.

Indexing is the process of a Search engine collecting,and store data by use of search engine.

Crawling means the search engine robot crawl or fetch the web pages while Indexing means search engine robot crawl the web pages, saved the information and it appear in the search engine.

Crawling is the process of like scanning the webpage by google bot.
Google bot will store the information of the webpage,which is called indexing.

The difference between indexed and crawling are
Indexed is using to add website page for a search engine. Crawling is used for website and follows the link we create the links so that the bot can crawl every page of the website. |
