Broken links are not only bad for user experience but can also be harmful to your site's loving relationship with Google, i.e. your SEO. Avoid linking out to broken content, and also avoid having pages on your site that are broken

Broken Links are links that send visitors to a webpage that no longer exists. Broken links are links that don't work. Some of the reasons why links don't work include: A website is no longer available. A webpage was moved without a redirect being added.

Broken links are the dead links. That does not work. It is the link page not found error.
