What's your guys opinion on Facebook groups?
How do you go about getting people to join your group? It can be an excellent source of traffic.

indeed it is a good option there are multiple options to make your group larger
you should have a long friend list
you should be active to other pages and groups
most important is contents
facebook or any social website is about the content as per members choice and you get bundle of requests which can help you to increase traffic.

It is an amazing way of getting traffic to your site but you have to get the right people first.

I have created one group and I'm going to share my experience with you .. it might help

1) Create an interesting group page which is related to your site.
2) Start adding interesting stuff to the page mainly related to your site but do not be limited to that .. funny posts which make people laugh are very important .. there is nothing more boring than a page which talk about only one subject
3) If you have lots of friends that is great .. if not you need to make lots of friend specially the ones who are interested in ur site stuff/idea
4) You have to join all the relevant groups ... Get involved in all of them .. like the other people comments would make them add you as a friend
5) Then invite your friend to your group page .. Unless the page is really boring no one would leave it and soon you will find people are asking you to join your group

It will take sometime but it is worth it .. good luck

Make sure you engage in discussions in Facebook groups from your niche. These are great source of traffic.

I have made 5 different name group and 5 different id and join and cross invitation pin post of other page got me 10,000 real people.

Facebook groups are great way to share a information and anything with a group of peoples that join the group...

Creating facebook group is a good idea for generating traffic for a website.
