Bounce rate simply describes that the website needs to be optimized because visitors are suddenly close their website.

Bounce rate is an Internet marketing term used in web traffic analysis. It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then leave rather than continuing to view other pages within the same site.

We can say that when website page loading is high and it takes time to load, many people will leave those sites. If you submit your website on the wrong platform, people will also leave your website. So these are the things where your bounce rate will increase, and a high bounce rate is not good for the website.

What is bounce rate?

26 to 40 percent
As a rule of thumb, a bounce rate in the range of 26 to 40 percent is excellent. 41 to 55 percent is roughly average. 56 to 70 percent is higher than average, but may not be cause for alarm depending on the website.

What is bounce rate?

26% to 40%
So, what is a good bounce rate? A bounce rate of 56% to 70% is on the high side, although there could be a good reason for this, and 41% to 55% would be considered an average bounce rate. An optimal bounce rate would be in the 26% to 40% range.
