Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is a mathematical method used to determine the relationship between terms and concepts in content. The contents of a webpage are crawled by a search engine and the most common words and phrases are collated and identified as the keywords for the page.

Semantic search is probably a term that you've heard thrown around. semantic search can do much more than this. Semantic search can take multiple variables about the person typing in the search.

Semantic search is the present and future, and it's important to have a good handle on what it is and how you can use it to your advantage.
