This is a very good query. You require focusing on first of all the keywords that are relevant for your web page, but if there is a lot of competitiveness for a particular search phrase then select a larger search phrase.

My problem with keywords is that many of my customers are not technologically savvy. So I have to not only come up with logical keywords for my business but also keywords that people who know nothing about film and video might use to search.

Use similar types of keywords that have same meaning and mostly pick them from name of website.
