The term was popularized by Tim O'Reilly and Dale Dougherty at the O'Reilly Media Web 2.0 Conference in late 2004, though it was coined by Darcy DiNucci in 1999. Web 2.0 does not refer to an update to any technical specification, but to changes in the way Web pages are made and used.

A tag cloud (a typical Web 2.0 phenomenon in itself) presenting Web 2.0 themes. ... The term was popularized by Tim O'Reilly and Dale Dougherty at the O'Reilly Media Web 2.0 Conference in late 2004, though it was coined by Darcy DiNucci in 1999.

Web 2.0 submission is the way or technique to share your content through Hubpages, Squidoo, blog sites. And Share your website on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin etc. This technique will help you to gain more traffic to your site.
