Goals of SEO - Site Owners Forums

Now in this world dominated by the online kinship many people know many thing about the SEO concept, yet still I want to know more and so I want to check out about it by visiting the tutorials and forum which are related to SEO and such, but still there are few basic things that I am unable to understand and that is why a site can�t improve without proper marketing. I want people�s ideas on how has SEO helped in the marketing and promotion of a site and a business and also want to know that can a business and site survive without any marketing work done on them?

That's also the question what I want to ask ! We know the concept, but we can't control the traffic...We are lack of experiences....methods...tools....and many other things...

The goal of SEO is optimizing your website and make it visible to almost major search engines which is helpful to increase search engine traffic by more visitors which may be converted to their potential customers so ultimately in increase the online business. SEO plays major role in the success of online business

As far as i think the goal of search engine optimization is to get traffic online through internet marketing. Everyone wants to grow their business through search engine optimization.

Agreed, the simple goal every web owner shoots for is high organic traffic and decent rank to follow.

Other goal are increase website PR, back links, site popularity.
