This is not as easy as it's been asked. Do research around your keywords. Choose long tail keywords first as you can rank on them easily and later on work for generic keywords. Good quality of backlinks from authority website could help you meet your goal.

Getting first rank on google is not so easy. You have to work smartly to get to that place.
Do proper keyword research and select some low competition keywords.
Write high quality articles, do social shares, create some links to that post with proper anchor text, do some interlink.

Look at your link profile or use a backlink checker to see what kind of links you currently have. Try to get different kinds of links from the links you currently have. On the other hand, if you have a few high powered links to your site already, you should try getting a bunch of lower quality links to your site instead.
Try to vary up your link profile so you cover the whole spectrum of links. Or you can also hire an expert for this from sites like SEOclerks.
