Forums are loosing their reputation?

I have found that as Google has updated penguin most of the forums have lost their rankings and traffic. please give your comments why is has happened after 25 April?

Well, Google algorithm is a new Google update that strives to penalizes websites who violate Google's webmaster guidelines. SEO is dynamic and it is owing to such updates by search engines which influences the ranking scores and trends.

Google wants every webmaster and siteowner use only organic way to create quality backlink. If everyone follow the right way to promote website then no effect will be done of penguin update. So create quality backlink with organic way.

I do not think that Forums lost .. but many site lost their SERP position bcz Google sharply looking for spammers...
