How to do keyword research? Share your experience.

Can you please share your experience to find out a good keyword? How many time do you spend to find one single keyword? Also What's your favourtie tool for keyword research? Feel free to share your ideas and thoughts.
I use adwards keyword planner, it is really useful. another thing is google trends which help you understand what are people searching for on google.

Basically I used to do keyword research by using keywordtool.io and Google Adwords. These tools are the best to search for the keywords related to the niche of a business and even one can search for high competition and low competition keywords also very easily.

I use Google webmaster tools for all of my keyword research. If you have a site that is already ranking for a keyword, throw in a few more from Webmaster Tools and you will make yourself a very powerful page in no time

First, You find topics to write content. Then You can use Google keyword planner and Longtail Pro software to find good Keywords for SEO. Good keywords have high monthly average searches and low competition. After you choose good keywords, you use them in your content with the density of 2-3%. You should use them naturally in your content

Step 1: Make a list of important, relevant topics based on what you know about your business. ...
Step 2: Fill in those topic buckets with keywords. ...
Step 3: Research related search terms. ...
Step 4: Check for a mix of head terms and long-tail keywords in each bucket.
