Latent semantic indexing (LSI) is an indexing and retrieval method that uses a mathematical technique called singular value decomposition (SVD) to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text.

Latent semantic compartmentalization it's AN rule utilized by search engines to work out what a page is regarding outside of specifically matching search question text. The LSI rule does not truly perceive the meanings of words on the page however it will spot patterns of connected words.

(Latent Semantic Indexing) is used in internet marketing which enables search engines to look not only for keywords but also for words which are close in meaning to keywords and phrases or synonyms. LSI obviously represents terms and documents in a rich, high-dimensional space, allowing the underlying, semantic relationships between terms and documents to be exploited during search.

LSI or Latent Semantic Indexing is the new indexing technology used for indexing document. Search engines are now delivering results on a single document analysis level basis, where each document is evaluated individually. This technique gives ample scope for the SEO industry to spam search results.

LSI is an effective technique for the SEO industry as it can be used to analyze, list and categorize the targeted keywords and key phrases in the content innovatively so that they convey the same meaning despite the diverse terms used.

Latent semantic indexing is an indexing and retrieval method that uses a mathematical technique called singular value decomposition (SVD) to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text. LSI is based on the principle that words that are used in the same contexts tend to have similar meanings.
