I think forum posting is much better than blog commenting cause in forum posting you have to continuously connected with that forum which increased chance to getting good traffic and backlinks also.

I think blog comments are best than forum posting as blog comments help to get traffic and the comments are unique in the blog comments.

Forum posting is much better than Blog commenting. The reason is simple, Blog commenting is most of the time giving no follow links, however in Forum posting most of the times you get do follow links.
