A sitemap can be best described as an index page it is a list of links to all of the pages within a site contained on one page. If you link to a sitemap from your homepage then it gives a robot easy access to all of the pages within your site. So is a sitemap totally good for my site? Your views?

Search engine is to much using site map for indexing website pages and if it is well structure than it can be helpful to get higher rank of website, site map is not more typical work, if you are using XML for site map than you can get better result of site map.

Site map is very impotent and very good for our web sites.Because site map has collect all pages link so when Google growl your site map then pick all pages link.

Site map is very important and effective thing because with the help of it you ping search engine to crawl your website and it is also important because you give instructions to search engine that which files it read and which not?. Whenever you make changes in your website you should re-submit site map.

Actually, when google search engine is coming to your website to find out its target than first proceed on site map page to get all web pages links of your website, so site map should be better and your website page rank is measurement of your site map also.
