Semantic HTML tags convey meaning beyond the simple presentational value that they provide in a browser.

Semantic HTML is the use of HTML markup to reinforce the semantics, or meaning, of the information in webpages and web applications rather than merely to define its presentation or look. Semantic HTML is processed by traditional web browsers as well as by many other user agents.

HTML is a markup language, which means it's made up of two things: content and markup to describe that content.

Why you guys don't try these types of easy and basic question on Google because these questions are easily available there with examples. Before asking such question try to do some research on the topic and then put your question if you still have some problem or doubt otherwise share your experience what you get by searching it on Google or other search engines you are using.
