Keyword prominence is a measure of keyword importance that indicates how close to the start of the area that the keyword appears. When a keyword appears at the beginning of the title, headings, or near the beginning of the text on the page, it is more important than others. So, use your important keywords at the top of the web site to optimize for search engines.

Keyword prominence refers to how prominent keywords are within a web page. And Prominent placement may be in the page header, meta tags, opening paragraph, or start of a sentence..

Keyword proximity is the mixture of the density of a keyword and the prominence. So proximity appears at the area of the keyword in the sentence and how often it's used in that sentence and also takes into account the distance between them.
