No doubt Social Bookmarking is great way to generate traffic and page rank to your site.I am also using High PR sites for book marking and getting great results.

As far as I Know, Social Bookmarking is still an effective technique of SEO for building quality backlinks and for increasing the website traffic. After Google Penguin Update, only high PR social bookmarking websites are useful.

yes definitely social bookmarking is an effective way to build backlinks, but if we does this more and more it may effect our website in reverse direction also.

Its one of the most important things for online advertising and marketing purposes. But the only thing is, one must wisely choose those sites that are having the highest page rank. If not, its just a donkey's work!

NO ,Importance of social bookmarking has not decrease by these updates, its just that doing more of social bookmark can cause adverse effect on our website.
