Bluehost or HostGator

The Bluehost or HostGator question seems to confuse many would-be professional web hosting subscribers. In order to tackle this query, one must first understand why professional web hosting is needed and then be able to make an informed choice.

It's just preference. BlueHost and HostGator are owned by the same company.

they differ in a few areas to attract different target markets. Very common for large companies to have product lines that may be similar but target different segments of consumers. for example, instead of creating a single product that captures 60% of the market you can create 5 different very specific niche products that are very targeted and capture 20% each to help dominate market share.

I mean it's a new thing for me to know that Bluhost and Hostgator are owned by same company. Good to know that as I am their customer, but was not knowing that.

Just now, I have done some research about this and came to know that this company own 56 hosting companies and the list can be found here at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enduran...national_Group

I've been with both and they are pretty much exactly the same. Just a different name.

Go for bluehost it is 1000% better than hostgator now a days hostgator server is too much slow down because of too much buyers. Bluehost referral is very good if anyone register with your bluehost referral link you will $60 get paid.
